The Dentons: A Fall Wedding at Farmington

Oh my Fellowers! It’s seems like it has been years…well it has been about a year. We have left you wondering about the finer things all by your lonesome. The good news is that we are back! My promise to you is that we will attempt to get a blog out each month. New content and new recipes.

In our time apart, our darling Haleigh married her beau, Mark. Another beautiful southern wedding in lovely Louisville, KY. I had the pleasure of having a big part of the planning and preparation (and making another wedding cake) for this magical day.

If you don’t remember, her twin was married the summer before. It has been a busy couple of years in the Fellows household and everyone is getting hitched left and right. Yours truly hasn’t had her day and truthfully I need a break!

Haleigh has an eye and fantastic taste. She had this planned to the tee without a detail forgotten. You also got to learn more about her engagement in our previous blog, Colorado High. It also started with the location, Farmington Historic Home. A gorgeous wooded area full of charm and gardens.

This venue was fantastic and everything else seemed to fall into place. Her color scheme was navy with accents of wine. Just like her sister, she was lucky to have family put the finishing touches on this special day as well as the same amazing florist and photographer.

What I enjoyed most about this day, was the simplicity and natural ease. Haleigh made this an experience for her guests and we all had an absolute blast. Weddings are a process but with the right help and a little bit of money… they are always beautiful. Here’s to the Dentons!
